United Promotions ROES Instructions
-To start ROES go to www.upilab.com and click the ROES link
the upper right corner of the screen. Then follow the instructions shown.
OR Click HERE to launch ROES
-Click OK to Tip of the Day and click on Stop Search if ROES is searching for images.
-Click My Information and enter:
Name, Email, State, Account
Number, Tax Exempt (Wholesale Only, must complete NC Tax Exempt
Form E-595E) and Telephone Number.
-To receive an Account
Number, click on the View
Order Status in Lab link located
-To display your images, click Folder, navigate to your image folder, and highlight a folder or one
image file in the folder;
then click Open.
PRODUCT SELECTION & OPTIONS:
-Click on Sizes then click Show
-Select a catalog by clicking
the Catalogs button (you can add products from one catalog only to an

-The product is displayed in the left window.
-Click and drag an image
to the left window.
-Rotate the image by clicking Rotate. Zoom in or out using
the Zoom slider just below
-Adjust the image position
within the crop guide by clicking and dragging the image.
-If there is a text
field, double click and highlight it to edit the text. If the text
area is too small,
place the cursor on the edge of the field (changes to a hand)
and zoom in by double clicking
that area. Double click outside of the text area to return
to normal zoom.
The text will appear similiar on the actual product,
check examples for the final text size.
-In the options window you
can select a text color, fonts
, background choices and the images
Sepia or B&W
for certain products as well.
It will open a window for options
if you select show options palette.
-The second row of buttons under the product allow you to Hold Crop, Hold Options, Hold Quantity, Hold Images, Lock
Image, Crop or Fit, Auto Rotate or Show a Recticle over nodes.
-If the Packager option has been enabled, click on the Sizes button. Then click Show my Packages
service at 800-362-4441 for this option to be available).
-To design a new set of
packages, Click on the Add Group button (second button) on the My Packages window.
-Enter a New
Group name. (PROM) Then
-Click on the Add
Package button (first button) on the My
-Enter a New Package name. (A) Then press Enter.
-To populate the new package
select a Catalog then drag Products from the catalog to the Package Icon (you can add products from one catalog only to an order).
Only standard units can be added to a package. You can select complex
products as you add each subjects package.
-Click the Package
Icon to view the contents of the Package and to change the quantities if necessary.
-If the Package contents
are not showing, click and drag the bar (up
and down arrows) to the middle
of the My Packages window to expose the contents.
-After selecting a Catalog,
click on a Product or a Package then drag an image to the left
-Change the quantity, if
-Adjust the Crop position and Zoom setting.
-Edit the Text.
Then choose a Color and Font.
-Select any other available options such as Background Images, Borders,
Mounts, Frames and Image Colors (color, b&w or sepia).

-Click Show Order to
a report of all prints ordered, you should print this for your records.
-Click Complete Order and then click Next to send
the order via the Internet.
Save to Disk for alternate delivery.
